Day 4
There is so much I love about this time of year and the season of Spring. I love the lighter, brighter days and evenings. I love the sun usually showing more of its presence and feeling warmer. I especially love to watch as my garden awakes from its dormant state of Winter to begin springing forth buds and flowers and to come alive again with colour.
You only have to look at God’s creation and it will amaze you with the detail in everything He has made and with such beauty.
Easter for me speaks a message of HOPE. Just like I trust that Spring will follow Winter and what is or appears dead and dormant in my garden will soon burst forth with new growth, new buds and life again, so God has given us an opportunity to receive a new life with Him through Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. The fact that God loves us so much in spite of all our failings, that He would send his one and only Son to save us from an eternity of separation from Him, if we repent from our sin and ask Him into our hearts to be our Lord and Saviour, is the greatest gift we could ever be offered. Through Jesus’s death and resurrection that paid the price for our sin once and for all on the cross, we can have a new life in Him, now and in eternity. That is the HOPE that I cling to. Is that your hope? A life full of God’s purposes and plans that will prosper. A faith filled life in the One who knows our past, our present and our future. A God who loves us unconditionally. Despite all the things that come our way in life good or bad, Jesus promises that when we surrender our lives to Him, He leaves us with His Holy Spirit to be our guide and our peace in this world.
May this Easter fill you with FAITH, HOPE and LOVE in the risen Christ. Amen.

Dear Lord,
Thank you that through the message of the cross and your resurrection power, we can live a life full of faith, hope and love. Help us to trust you more in our day to day, standing on your word as truth, both now and always. Amen.
